Message	If your HICAS controller doesn't get a speed signal after 15-30 seconds it cuts out power steering. From what you said, it doesn't sound related, but my Fleabay Consult>USB converter was somehow killing the speed signal to the HICAS and ECU, which was causing PS to cut out as a fail-safe. Speedometer still worked though. Unplugging consult, everything works fine.
